ACAP Reflections :
ACAP exposed me to another profession that I overlooked growing up. ACAP equipped me with a week's worth of college life preparation as I prepared for my freshman year.  I learned more about working with others and putting aside differences to achieve a common goal.  Networking was one of the main words that became a part of my daily "to-do list" as I quickly learned the advantages of knowing others that are in a position for which I am striving.
As  a graduate student, I appreciate the leadership position I was fortunate to be in as an ACAP Counselor.  The daily responsibilities and nightly meetings have been reflected on many times as I balance serving in my church home, building a deeper relationship with God, a part-time job, classes, and late night homework.
Lastly, I made lifetime friends each year!!!
