ACAP Scholarships
ACAP Scholarships are available to ACAP Graduating Seniors who meet the requirements as outlined in the Scholarship document and who submit their application by the deadline date. Total scholarships awarded depend on funding (generally in increments of $500, $750, or $1,000). The scholarships awarded are presented at the ACAP Closing Session. The dollars will actually be disbursed in late August or early September upon proof of enrollment in college. Click here for the 2020 ACAP Scholarship Criteria.

NABA DFW Anthony Brown Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is funded by the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. and is open to ACAP Graduating Seniors, undergraduate students, and students enrolled in a five-year accounting program. The student must major in accounting or other business-related field, otherwise not eligible.
The high school scholarship is presented at the ACAP Closing Session in June. The funds are disbursed in late August or early September.
The undergraduate or graduate scholarship is a separate scholarship applicaton and is awarded in October during the Western Region Student Conference.

SMU Cox School of Business Scholarship
The SMU Cox School of Business Scholarship is awarded to the ACAP student selected by the ACAP Scholarship Selections Committee who graduates from the program, enrolls in SMU, and majors in a Cox School of Business BBA major. The SMU Cox School of Business Scholarship is $1,000/year for four years (total of $4,000).
UTD: Naveen Jindal School of Management (JSOM) Scholarships
The Naveen Jindal School of Management (JSOM) awards some merit-based scholarships to incoming and continuing undergraduate students in both the fall and spring semesters. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 15 semester credit hours to apply for scholarships designated for full-time applicants. Each scholarship may have specific requirements based on the purpose of the scholarship, including but not limited to: academic performance, area of study, residency status, leadership, community service and level of campus/student organization involvement. Monetary Awards
During an ACAP residency summer, the remaining ACAP Students (Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors) are eligible for the other monetary awards. The amounts vary and depend on ACAP funding:
*Top Male (most points earned by a male student)
*Top Female (most points earned by a female student)
*Most Enthusiastic (voted on by fellow students)
*Most Inspirational (voted on by fellow students)
*Rising Star (most likely to succeed in Accounting; voted on by fellow students)
*Top Male Counselor (voted on by the students; input and observations are made by ACAP Senior Staff)
*Top Female Counselor (voted on by the students; input and observations are made by ACAP Senior Staff)
*Talent Show Winner
*Prize Drawing
*Top Male (most points earned by a male student)
*Top Female (most points earned by a female student)
